week somthing..

Alright so today mr. stryker gave us one of those "Upfront" mini-mag's and i decided to read one of the lovely articles and it was about how schools in Florida and Alabama not letting students sag their pants. I think it is completely rediculious! But i would like to say to all the idiots out there who have nooo idea what their saying to all the weirdos out there, by 'sagging' your pants. The whole trend of sagging your pants started with convicts in jail, by sagging your pants in jail you were giving the impression to other jail mates that you were, so to say, uh headed down the 'sandusky' way if you catch my drift. so i mean if thats your thing, ok but i would think twice about it from now on gentlemen.    By saying that kids will not be able to get a job solely on ones appearance, and sagging in my opinion isnt quite accurate. you have to have hope in the parents to control how their kids look and if you think that kids wont get a job solely baised on how they look is kind of obsurd. their not going to get a job mostlikely baised on a poor work ethic, ability, and focus. not to mention if you walk into a job looking like a slob with your pants below your knees you probably dont have the common sence to work there anyway. but saying that sagging their pants is the sole purpose to not getting a job is not completely acurate. i also think its rediculios that bus drivers in places like Chicago wouldnt pick people up if they didnt pull up their pants. i mean what does it matter to the bus companies what people look like their on a bus not the red carpet, and by riding the bus their giving 'you' the bus driver a job, your welcome?
RAH! people should be able to wear what they want, your choice on how you want to appear to people... WOOF.

weeek16

alright so we recently talked in class about a wrestling coach in Frankton who had earlier tried to become a wrestling coach and was not advised to be able to because he was too sketchy. so when he tried again this year and some people signed up, another coach advised otherwise. and all in good favoring toward the young boys. Clinton Coutch has been charged so far with one count of molestation.. the other coach came on and said he has hopes that if other boys have been victimized that they too will come forward.

I think that the man stepping up to stand up for the kids to make sure this man was unable to form a team and molest many more young boys i think that if there were more people in the world like this, potentially, things may not get as strung out and misconstrewd as they often do. i also think this man should have a high sentencing and i think that after everything with the Sandusky case, recently, its great that their making such a big deal about this, not just sweeping it under the rug, as what so often, does happen.

MY COMMENTS

This is my comment toward what mikey wrote considering his account wont let me say anything!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i love black friday, i seriously do. its like more than half the reason i like the month of November. now, dont get me wrong thanksgiving is great and all and i love my family, but forget the food and bring on the parade and then late late late at night early early morning bring on the shopping fuhsho! i mean in all actuality youve probably had enough of your crazy uncle ranting about a football team he knows nothing about and your crazy little cousins screaming their heads off you need some time to slide away and shop thill you drop, the best part is picking out your families christmas gift like half price and not worrying about their gift the rest of the holiday season! lets be honest though, almost all the men in your family are probably drunk by mindight anyway, you definetly dont wanna sit there and listen to them all night... #iloveblackfriday

week 15

This Week was another short week! this past week we had, had a lot of rain, which did not fail on my way home from South Carolina, which is the pain purpose as to why my blog is late, hooray! But anyway rain as i was saying is the topic of my blog this evening. Channel 13 reported earlier this week that there were leaves and an over accessive amount of rainfall over the past few days which has led to some flooding.

I can personally tell you first hand all about over accessive amount of rainfall and flooding in 2008 my basement flooded six times in the same summer, all within about a week. Everytime, it was like we would fix the problem, get everything all cleaned up then, boom flood all over again. there are many problems with flooding in franklin which causes a lot of problems for many people and small business that have to close for maintence problems, but nothing has topped the summer of 2008..

week 14

this was one of our shorter weeks at school due to NCYC happening downtown, we went to school Mon. thru Thurs. i remember one of thisgs brought in to talk about was infact NCYC or National Catholic Youth Conference, as some people who like to talk a lot would refer to it as. This NCYC did infact bring in 23,000 youth and 2,000 college students, not counting the coutless teacher and parent chaparones.

I was one of the 'lucky' many who was able to attend NCYC this year. Although it was not completely aweful it did have some perks we were invited to stay at the new, J.W. Marriott and our morning opening and evening closing sessions were held at Lucus Oil Stadium, it was exciting to see that there were more 'youth' that filled up the Colts Football Staudium than the Colts have all season... NCYC is structured around building your faith, making new friends, and not being afraid to spread your faith all over the world, which is also another reason there are so many kids that come from so many places to attend NCYC.

week 13

I believe this is the week i brought up the point that was brought up on Fox news about the controvesial episode of Glee that was aired on that particular Tuesday night. The episode focused mainly on Quin who had become an underaged and not engaged pregnant high school teenager, in the first season of Glee she later gave the baby up for adoption and the season ended. we are now into either the fifth or sixth season of Glee and they are bringing the baby issue back. Quin and Puck(the baby daddy) want the baby back and are prepared todo nearly anything to get her back. At the end of the episode New Girl and Raising Hope followed, but then! Fox News at ten came on and had mentioned somthing about the episode. They said that the episode was controversial because parents that do adopt fear, often that the childs parents will want their child back.

Although i do think this was blow'n a bit out of proportion i do feel like this has probably been an issue before, but i highly doubt it is somthing parents often fear. most adoptions are closed adoptions anyway, meaning that the childs birthparents dont ever meet the adoptive parents, or keep in-contact throughout the childs life. Fox, goes a tad-bit over the top somtimes.

week 12

This was an exciting week, in class this week we watched an exciting episode of  "What Would You Do" this thriling show puts real life people in staged senarios to see what exactly they would do. In this particular episode we watched as actors came to a bar and acted like they were on a first date. When the female actor would excuse herself to the restroom the male actor with her would pour a powder into her drink giving the assumption he has spiked it. Then, it was up to the peole around to decide "What Would You Do".

"What Would You Do" what would I do? as the seventeen year old student, as I am, logically, I could do nothing, and i would most likely not even be seated at a bar in Indiana. But for all purposes of this blog and in all hypothetical manner speaking, if i was sitting at a bar and i made eye contact with a man pouring annnnnything into someones drink, male or female, i would first, tell everyone around me, but then! i would of course notify whoever it is that is about to be drinking loopy punch and probably come up with some strongly worded words for the "kind man" and have his escorted out, alone.

week 11

This week in particular we had been talking about the World Series, although i am not a die hard fan or any kind of sports team.. shocking i know. i was favoring for The Cardinals to win the World Series. i must say, although, i was highly influenced by a good friend of mine to root for them when i was earlier in the year rooting for the Reds..

I must be completely honest in saying i did not even watch the World Series and could not quite tell you who did what, who played best, or who was loosing at the beginning of the game. But what i can tell you is who scored more points, and that my friend was the Cardinals! i was extrememly excited to find out that they had completely dominated in 7 games and continued on to the World Series to succeed in the biggest baseball game of all time. wooo! Go Cards!

Colt

This is a tad behind but this blog was suppse to be written about the Colts and how their season is going well at this poin they were 0-7, there were some reports out on how the Colts may or may not deserve the first pick in the draft. And they would also have to make the decision on weather or not they want Andrew Luck from Standoford. Who would then fallow in the footsteps of Manning until, he chooses to retire.
But what we are wondering is, will the Colts season ever get better?

I feel like altought i hade hope for the Colts in the beginning, there is not hardly any hope left in me for the Colts to succeed this season and although it is so sad to think that we are holding the Super Bwol and our team doesnt have any sort of potential to get into it... Maybe next year! :[
